INTRODUCTION
The movie “Cole” is a fast paced psychological thriller that delves deeply into the emotional pressures faced by many modern American teens. These pressures often drive teens to the violent and murderous acts that devastate local schools and towns. The film explores how family dynamics, teen culture and modern societal influences can provide the foundation for a complete loss of self worth and hope for one’s future. The story follows its lead, Cole Chambers, through his fall into a dark and shadowy world of neurosis, pain and rejection. Cole’s struggle to find hope leads him on a journey of self discovery where he reclaims his own self worth through reflection, growth and embracing the optimistic people that surround him. Cole undergoes this transition through a series of experiences that are compelling and familiar to the youth of America today. In a radical twist, Cole is able to use his own new found hope to prevent a school shooting plotted by the bully that had nearly stripped Cole of his own optimistic nature.

“COLE” IS AN IMPORTANT STORY
“Cole” provides a unique opportunity to present the awesome power of hope to the world through one of the most influential communications mediums that exists today; a feature motion picture. In a world where anger and violence can dominate our media, surroundings and even recreational activities, this story of how the choices we make control our destiny simply must be told.
We are certainly not the first to recognize the inherent power of films to move and inspire. However, other attempts at making a movie about teen violence and the way that teens lash out at the world have fallen far short of bringing any enlightenment to their audience. Documentary films do not have the ability to reach deep into the emotional darkness that needs illumination for the integrity of the message to remain intact. “Cole” confronts many of the critical issues faced by teens directly, with a clear vision, a unique structure and a gripping visual style. We have collaborated with youth psychologists in the development and validation of this story and are dedicated to making a movie that will move and inspire people all over the world.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The real opportunity before you today is to become an integral part of a film that we believe will touch the hearts and minds of millions of people around the world in a very positive way. We invite you to join us in making this project a reality.
THE VISION FOR “COLE”
The vision for “Cole” is best explained in the words of its Director who also conceived the story and its characters. “I am convinced it is time to produce a true study of the dark shadow syndrome that drives otherwise optimistic teens to commit violent crimes against their elders and peers. I am even more convinced that the subject of this study should be a high school shooting. “Cole” will speak to the young movie-going audience because it deals with many real issues that teens are confronted with and is presented in their language with a fresh contemporary style."
“The audience will identify with our main character, High School sophomore Cole Chambers, who goes through an intense and devastating crisis when his mother's life is taken in a fatal car accident. As Cole withdraws from the people around him, he finds they become ever more cynical and hard-hearted. However, inherent in every human being is the desire, the ache, no matter how well suppressed, to believe there is hope out there. Through Cole we will show the audience that there indeed is hope and choice for everyone."
